For Tenants
How much notice will I receive?
Your property manager will provide you with written notice before conducting a routine inspection.
Do I need to be home?
No, you don't need to be home. Your property manager has the right to enter with proper notice whether you're present or not.
What should I prepare?
- Ensure the property is clean and tidy
- Gardens and lawns are maintained
- Report any maintenance issues in advance
- Remove trip hazards and clear access points
- Ensure pets are secured or removed
What happens after the inspection?
You'll receive a report outlining the condition of the property. If there are any concerns, your property manager will contact you to discuss them.
For Landlords
Why are routine inspections important?
